HOW TO ORDER

As it is difficult to guarantee supplies of items from the West Bank and Gaza , please do not simply send an order with cheque unless you allow us to substitute if some item is out of stock.

Recommended procedure: Telephone, email or post an order to Hadeel.  You can do this either:

  • by using the order form and email it to info@hadeel.org
  • as an attachment.  (You can download the form from this website; it is available as MS Excel  If you have trouble, please phone or email us.)
  • or simply by listing all the information and sending to us.  Please include code number, quantity, description and any other relevant information, e.g. colour or size.
  • Tell us if you will accept a substitute for any item and by when the goods are needed.

We will then inform you of the amount due, including postage.

HOW TO PAY

Individuals  You can pay by either by:

  • Sending a cheque (with your bank card number on the back) payable to Hadeel, or
  • Informing us of your debit or credit card details.

If we do not hear from you after a week, the goods will be put back into stock.  We will dispatch your goods within one week of receiving payment. Prices include VAT.

Fair Traders and Support Groups:

Order as for individuals.  Your invoice will include your discount, VAT and postage charge.  If you have an account with us, the goods will be sent and you will pay as usual.  If you haven’t an account, please ask about credit if you need it.

Shops:  Please ask for separate terms and lists.

PLEASE NOTE:  Only in exceptional circumstances are we able to do Sale or Return orders.  There may be a Local Rep in your area  from whom you can purchase some products or order.

If you are in Edinburgh , do look into the shop and see the full display of crafts, books and campaign materials from many different organisations concerned with Palestine and Israel .

NOTES ABOUT PRODUCTS

The photos on this website and items on the order form are only some of items we stock in our Edinburgh shop.  Please ask about larger, more expensive items such as waistcoats/vests, shawls, cushion covers, olive wood pieces, and books.   Embroidered products in the main are washable; the thread is DMC which will not fade or run. Wash as wool, with cool water.

Measurements are in centimetres, giving first the length (horizontal) then the height (vertical).

Colours:  use first letter, e.g. R = red, G = green; but note B = blue, Bl = black, Br = brown.  The slash / means ‘on’, as R/Bl means red embroidery on black material; B/W=blue on white.

Size of embroidered items may vary slightly because each piece is hand made and finished.  Counted cross stitch means finished size depends on the density of the weave of the fabric.  It is not always possible to get materials woven at consistently the same tightness.
