Description
San Ghanny – “we shall sing” in Arabic – is a Scottish choir that sings in solidarity with the people of Palestine. This book, 1001 Olive Trees, tells the stories of some of the extraordinary people we met in our visits to Palestine. It celebrates the strength, dignity and nonviolent resistance we encountered in so many people living every day under occupation.
“There is no security, no safety. If you leave your house, you don’t know if you will com back or not… so in order tto resist uou have to have dignity, you have to continue fighting.”
